Aryan began his hospitality journey at ISH four years ago. After completing the bachelor’s programme, he went on to pursue his master’s at Les Roches. We caught up with him for a quick conversation about his experience in Spain, and his reason for choosing Marbella.
Do you enjoy studying at Les Roches? What do you like the most about it?
I love the immersive experience of the Master’s in Marketing & Management for Luxury Tourism.
Even though we’re just a month into the programme, we’ve been on five site visits. One of them was to a real estate company, La Zagaleta and the others were to Loro Piana and Hermès. At Hermès, we interacted with the store manager and learnt how to sell luxury products — which is really the reason why I’m here!
Do you think ISH is similar to Les Roches in any way?
Both have amazing campuses and facilitators. The faculty at ISH are very friendly; they are almost like my family and I’m lucky to find the same at Les Roches.
Why did you choose Marbella?
I wanted to stay outside India and explore new cities. And what better place to do that than in Marbella? Whether it’s summer or winter, on-season or off-season, there’s always something to do here. And that makes it the place to be!
