It
was ISH or nothing for our first-year bachelor’s student, Mahek. From preparing her
first dish at 8 to joining culinary school at 18 — her journey had an
unconventional start. She took to cooking in Class III when her mother was too
unwell to step inside the kitchen. To make her feel better, Mahek made the most
delicious aloo-paratha she’d
ever tasted, and from there, her love for food grew fonder.
Mahek
chose to enroll in
the culinary arts honors program right after the twelfth and join our
campus in Gurugram.
Talking about her
decision, she says, “I visited many
schools in India, but none compared to the exceptional education ISH offered.
The approach to teaching, the faculty and the facilities made it my first
choice. After completing my course, I hope to pursue my passion for pastry arts
and work with top hotels to create exquisite desserts!”
