Set over 11 months, graduates will be taught the business, managerial and operational basics to begin rewarding careers in various verticals of the services sector with some of India’s leading.

While ISH uses industry expert facilitators to design and deliver content, our industry partners support the program by sharing specialized elective modules that will help prepare students towards the coporate culture, policy and procedures. The Programme course includes 5 months of classroom sessions based on four main pillars of service operations management.

Executive Presence

The first quarter of the course is focused on building a strong portfolio of leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Students learn the soft skills of becoming successful service operations leaders that are skillful in negotiation, business communication, conflict management, relationship building and more.

Service Orientation

From the fundamentals of consumer behavior to service design and layout - students learn the intricacies and inner workings of a service operations environment and everything they need to know to ensure impeccable service operations and unmatched customer service.

Business Fundamentals

The third quarter of the course instills students with marketing expertise, fundamentals of finance and human resource management.

Service Operations in a Digital World

We’re living in a digital age – and it’s crucial for service operations managers to be future-ready. The final part of the course is a series of modules that makes students proficient with the latest in industry technology, online spaces and commercial software.

The set of learning methodology and tools used throughout the programme to prepare flexible and future-proof graduates are:

Candidates applying for admission to the Postgraduate Programme in Service Operations Management will need to fit the eligibility criteria before applying. Aspirants who are ineligible will be rejected at any time of the admission process and will not be entertained further. The following points are the eligibility criteria which is to be met by the candidate.

  • Candidates should have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree of a minimum 3 or 4-year duration with its equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4). The bachelor’s or master’s degree should be from a university which is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission) of India.

  • The candidate needs to have a minimum of 55% aggregate at graduation level.

  • Before applying, candidates studying three-year degree programme will have needed to pass all subjects from the 1st to 4th semester, while applicants who pursued a four-year course should have passed in all subjects from the 1st to 6th semester.

  • Candidates need to note that if the information provided on the application is incorrect or misleading at any point of the admission process, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled. The institute reserves the right to take any legal action as deemed fit.
