Circle of Care at ISH

Care that moves with you. Support that stays with you.

Counseling and emotional wellness

Counseling and emotional wellness

ISH partners with YourDOST, a 24×7 platform that connects students to licensed mental health professionals. Support is available both online and in person. From Day 1, students know who to reach out to for confidential guidance. Counselors regularly visit campus, while the digital platform ensures round-the-clock access to one-on-one sessions, wellness content, and support groups. Stress management, mindfulness, and emotional safety are embedded in daily life.

Healthcare and urgent support

Healthcare and urgent support

ISH maintains partnerships with leading hospital networks located near both the campus and the student residences. Emergency services are active and easily accessible. The ISH operations team coordinates first response and follow-through care, ensuring students receive immediate support during medical situations. No delays, no uncertainty.

Health promotion and preventive care

Health promotion and preventive care

Well-being at ISH is proactive, not reactive. Students participate in awareness campaigns, stress management sessions, art therapy, blood donation drives, and guided wellness workshops. These are not add-ons, they’re part of the culture. Every initiative is designed to help students manage pressure, build resilience, and develop lifelong habits that sustain personal well-being.

Nutrition and dietary support

Nutrition and dietary support

The dining experience at ISH is intentional. Meals are designed to support energy, immunity, and mood. Options include allergen-specific, vegan, gluten-free, and nutrition-balanced diets. Culinary and nutrition teams work closely to ensure every student feels cared for—physically, emotionally, and culturally—through food that is fresh, balanced, and made with purpose.

Policy on Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment

Policy on Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment

ISH follows the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations on the Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions, 2015. We have an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) on campus to receive and address cases in line with due process. The policy ensures a safe environment, clear reporting channels, and protection for complainants. Full details are available in the ISH Student Handbook, which students receive upon admission. Students may also refer to the official UGC regulations on the UGC website.

Anti-Ragging Policy

Anti-Ragging Policy

ISH enforces the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009. Ragging in any form is prohibited on campus and in residences. All students sign an anti-ragging undertaking at the time of admission. Monitoring systems, awareness sessions, and disciplinary mechanisms are active throughout the year.
Full details are available in the ISH Student Handbook, provided to every student upon admission. The UGC framework is also accessible on the UGC website.

Student Grievance Redressal

Student Grievance Redressal

ISH adheres to the University Grants Commission (Grievance Redressal of Students) Regulations, 2023. These regulations define a grievance as any complaint related to academic, administrative, or service matters. ISH has a Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) to address such concerns transparently and fairly. Detailed procedures are included in the ISH Student Handbook, shared at the time of admission. The UGC definition and guidelines are also available on the UGC website.

Accessibility

Accessibility

ISH is built to be inclusive and accessible. Campus infrastructure and services support mobility, learning, and participation for all students. We follow UGC accessibility norms and continue to make improvements across teaching, assessment, and facilities. Accessibility is not treated as an add-on, but as part of how the campus functions.

Academic Support

Academic Support

Faculty and mentors at ISH provide academic support through tutorials, bridge courses, and writing assistance. Students have access to dedicated faculty hours, targeted sessions before exams, and individual mentoring. The academic support system is designed to ensure every student receives the help they need to succeed in their program.
