A training and education specialist, Kunal Vasudeva has worked with Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines and was responsible for developing the Kingfisher Training Academy, before moving on to become the CEO of The Chopras- India’s largest and most successful global education company. Most recently, Kunal was the Chief Operations Officer of Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa.

Rajiv Gulshan Dean, Academics

A graduate from the Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development, Chef Rajiv has spent the last three decades transforming the culinary education landscape and has been instrumental in bringing Indian heritage cuisine into the international limelight. Decorated with the Commander de Commanderie de Cordon Bleu title and a recipient of the Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi Outstanding Performance award, Chef Rajiv has worked across some of the most prestigious hospitality ventures across the world, including Veda restaurant in Hong Kong which was named as one of the top 3 restaurants in Asia by Time Magazine. Rajiv is on his way to achieving his Doctorate in Education while he’s constantly on the move consulting for luxury brands globally.

Dr. Anshuman Jaswal Associate Dean, Academics

Dr. Anshuman was earlier an Associate Professor in Finance at Bennett University's School of Management and served as the Chairperson of its BBA program. He has extensive research and consulting experience and has taught as visiting faculty at leading Indian business schools. Prior to joining Bennett University, he had worked in senior roles at firms such as Primetech and Celent in the U.S. He has authored more than 100 research reports covering strategy and technology topics in financial services. Dr. Jaswal is a Fellow in Management (equivalent of a PhD) with a specialization in Economics from India’s premier B-school, IIM Ahmedabad. Earlier, he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honours) by the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, an MBA in Finance by NMIMS, Mumbai, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of London, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Gaurav Prasher Associate Director, Culinary & Practical Arts

Till recently, Gaurav has been the Executive Chef at JW Marriott Resort & Spa. He is a culinarian with over 19 years of experience of working with 5-star luxury hotels. Gaurav’s journey began with working as a kitchen associate of a pre-opening team member of The Oberoi Vanayavilas, Ranthambhore. In 2018, he commenced working with JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa. An avid learner and his passion for food made him notable in the industry in a very short span of time. His flair of fusion food dazzles the taste buds of all the food lovers.

Chef Mayank an alumnus of IHM Hyderabad is a culinary professional turned educator. He is proficient in culinary arts with an emphasis on Indian Regional Cuisine. With his post-graduation in human resources management and personnel administration from the Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, he also assists with facilitating food & beverage, hospitality and hotel management. He is a strong operations professional, skilled in Internal Quality Assurance.

Babu Nagarajan Assistant Director, Culinary & Practical Arts

A versatile, self-directed and resourceful culinarian with 15+ years of extensive experience with specialization on multicuisine, molecular gastronomy and Gard manger. Passionate professional perfectionist with positive attitude and has demonstrated the ability to work under pressure. During my stint at ITC Hotels I gained expertise in customer relationship management, product management, cost control and total quality management. This enriching exposure has helped me understand the nuances and importance of fine luxury, grooming which are required in nurturing the right skill set to become a successful professional. Neha has 9 years of diverse managerial experience in the hospitality industry. After completing her PG in Guest Service Management from OCLD, she started her career at the Oberoi Udavilas in Front Office. She was part of the preopening team in Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai and later moved to the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers to manage their Front Office operations. Energetic, quirky and an optimist by nature, Spoorthy, has spent more than 12 years working in the hospitality industry. She has over 9 years of experience managing guest relations, customer experience, team handling and training in hotels and real estate. Before joining ISH, she was involved in influencing the future managers of the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts during her tenure as a hospitality trainer at her alma mater, OCLD (The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development). Ambika has over 18 years of diverse experience in Guest Relation Management, Front Office, Reservations, Tourism and Hospitality related education. She has worked across organizations, starting with the Taj Group of Hotels, she has worked with ITC Fortune, Viceroy (Marriott’s International), Intercontinental The Grand hotels and then shifted to education with stints at the Institute of Hotel Management (Dadar Catering College), Atharva College of Hotel Management etc. She has leveraged and shared her experience across a wide cross section of students over the last 10 years.

Deepak is an experienced library professional with over 13 years of experience in different types of academic libraries. Prior to his appointment at ISH, Deepak was associated with The Northcap University, Gurugram where he developed the complete set-up of their University Library.

Dr. Brainerd Prince Adjunct Faculty, Research Design & Methodology

Brainerd is skilled in research, higher education, Strategic Planning, and Public Speaking with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Philosophy of Religion focusing on Sri Aurobindo's Integralism. He teaches and tutors on the philosophy and practice of research across disciplines and at all levels of education. His first book The Integral Philosophy of Aurobindo: Hermeneutics and the Study of Religion was published by Routledge in 2017.

Dr. Nandini Srivastava Adjunct Faculty, OB, HRM & CSR

24+ yrs of overall experience with 19 yrs in management education and 5 yrs of corporate experience in MNCs (product management). Associated with multiple government bodies in a consulting role (e-Content development for MOOCs, talent recruitment for renowned PSUs etc.). Prof. Payal Kumar Adjunct Faculty, Human Resources

Dr. Kumar is a Professor and Chair (HR/OB); and Head of Research and International Relations at BML Munjal University. She is well known for publishing books with international publishers such as Palgrave Macmillan and Emerald Publishers. She has published 10 books so far and is working on several others. Also she is the editorial board member of several prestigious international journals. In an earlier avatar Dr Kumar held the post of Vice President Editorial and Production, SAGE Publications Pvt Ltd.

Monisha has over 28 years of Hotel Management, Business Development & SalesCapability experience. Major Anil Malik Disaster Management

Major Anil had served in the Indian Army for nearly 11years and had been awarded Sena Medal also for leadership and gallantry in Combat in 2002. After providing security to our country, he joined in the field of security and administration in corporate for nearly a decade. With this vast experience Major Anil has now ventured into an Entrepreneurship role for last 3years.

Major Anil has not only served Indian Army but also worked with corporates like ITC, Ranbaxy and Sun Pharma in the field of security. His key skills involve leadership, team building, training and negotiation skills.

Ifrah Rehman Environmental Science

Ifrah holds a Master Degree in Environmental studies from Delhi University. She has worked on climate change issues and sustainable agriculture in SAARC countries. She is a young and dynamic environmental studies professional with nearly 4 years of teaching experience in Delhi University.

She has some experience with United Nations and simultaneous experience in corporate world and hospitals. She has also worked on issues and concerns regarding Bio-medical Waste management.

A Commerce graduate and an MBA in marketing, Bhavya has worked with organisations such as Tata Consultancy Services and HDFC Bank. She has been into handling customer relations and business development. She holds keen interest in sports, music and loves exploring nature.

Kristina Lakstutyte Director, Marketing

A designer at heart, Kristina has worked with multiple brands to discover their identity through design, research and content. She graduated from the University of Leicester with honours, where she discovered her interest in research and marketing. Kristina has since worked in content development, research, brand development and corporate communication, with a focus on creating identities for new-age entrepreneurial and start-up based businesses.

Kartik Kamboj Lead, Design & Branding

A creative & multi-talented graphic designer with extensive experience in multimedia, marketing & print design, Kartik contributes his exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills as well as dynamic communication skills to the ISH team. He has creative experience in the various streams of design such as print, web and multimedia with in depth knowledge of still life photography. A passionate and inventive creator of innovative marketing collaterals & campaigns, he has produced innovative packaging and print designs for various domestic and international brands.

Sonia Vijh Manager, Social Media Marketing

A Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Delhi University, has worked in reputable brands like Ernst Young & Intercontinental Hotel Group. Passed her CFA level 1 & decided to change her field from Finance to Digital Marketing with a Dubai based E-commerce portal. Content curation & management of social media channels & campaigns is her forte.

Gurcharan Singh Director – Finance & Investments

An individual who works and handles businesses like a business partner and entrepreneur. 27 years of diverse experience in Finance, Business Development, Corporate Affairs and Investments while working with Amanresorts, Max Ventures, Vana Retreat etc. He likes to work for a Company or group of Individuals who have a vision and ambition to grow where he can be an integral part of the process. He has tremendous amount of Experience to set up project/initiative within India and Overseas. Passionate to bring efficiency in to system which impacts business growth & profitability.

Ravi Bhushan Associate Director - Finance & Accounts

A chartered accountant by profession, Ravi has over twelve years of experience within the hospitality industry and real-estate industry. During the span of his career, he has worked with leading brands that include Aman Resorts, Taj Hotels, DLF, and Duet India Hotels.

Naveen Kumar Sr. Executive - Finance & Accounts

A graduate from Delhi University, Naveen has nine years of corporate experience in finance and accounts within the hospitality Industry. At ISH Naveen is responsible for maintaining company financial records and the creation of reports for review by the Assistant Director of Finance & Accounts as well as the management team and external consultants. Naveen also oversees daytoday accounting at ISH.

Vijay Kumar Executive, Accounts

A graduate from Kolkata University, with a total of 9 years' Experience in Accounts & MIS in Trading & Freight Forwarding Industries. Currently responsible for Credit Control/Financial records and assisting for MIS reporting to the management team.

Anupam Mukherjee Director, Operations

Anupam has a proven record of over 19 years, with the required experience and leadership skills, directed the development and execution of a hotel strategic planning – marketing & sales initiatives, financial plans and analysis for operations excellence.He has worked for Fortune Park Hotels, the Embassy group, Mantri Developers, Taj, TGIF and managed internship programmes. Academically he holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and a B.Com. as well as an Executive Development Programme.

Vivek Bhati Assistant Director, Administration

An experienced admin professional who has worked in multiple industries supporting a range of senior executives, Vivek’s experience ranges from telecommunications and healthcare to food and hospitality where he has provided support services both to multiple managers as well as entire departments. Most recently Vivek has provided professional support to the President of Duet India Hotels, part of the Duet Group, a global alternative asset manager co-founded by Henry Gabay in 2002 and headquartered in London.
