The International Culinary Arts Programme is an 18-month culinary programme that aims to provide a global education from a faculty of international industry experts, renowned chefs and some of the biggest influencers in the industry, all at the first École Ducasse campus in India.
The scope of the programme is tailored to provide the perfect balance and academic intensity between theoretical and practical learning. You will garner a strong practical foundation from the get-go of the programme, always complemented by a strong grasp of the theory behind the cuisine and techniques you are learning. Through this unique teaching methodology, you will successfully demonstrate an adept culinary skill set and in-depth knowledge of operations and cuisine.
The programme includes a global pathway, where you will be finishing the programme with our academic partners AtSunrice GlobalChef Academy, a Singapore EduTrust certified institution. At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy is certified with The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications, SkillsFuture Singapore and The World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACs).
The first 9 months of the programme will have you learning the fundamentals, science and theory behind culinary arts at our internationally lauded campus, with our team of experienced chef facilitators. Following this, you will articulate to At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy, where for 3 months, you will be learning alongside other diploma students within the state of the art campus and world renowned chefs. The final 6 months of the program will put you in exciting industry placement with leading brands within Singapore, letting you put your skills to the test and experience working in a real professional kitchen. You will receive 800 Singapore dollars each month of the internship.
Tailormade to take your personal culinary interests to the next level, all internships are specially curated to give you hands-on, real world expertise in a live working environment and experience your first steps into their culinary careers. All students will have help and facilitation from the Indian School of Hospitality to obtain their desired stream on internship, including exciting opportunities with our leading industry placement partners that include Accor Hotels, Marriott International, and Leela Hotels, Resorts and Palaces.
Upon graduation, you will receive a Diploma in Culinary Arts, otherwise known as a full qualification in WSQ Diploma in Culinary Arts.
