About Gurugram University

Gurugram University is a state university established by Haryana Act 17 of 2017. The students from every nook and corner of the country and from every group and stratum of society will live, learn and play in the sprawling lush green campus, nestled at Sector-51, Gurugram. The University will have faculty and other support and service staff, who will cater various needs of students and campus which will facilitate learning and imbibe the best practices among students. Moreover, the University will provide world class facilities, which will be constantly reviewed and upgraded to reflect the latest trends and developments in higher education.

How does the affiliation work?

Students of our undergraduate programmes will receive internationally recognized bachelor degrees from Gurugram University. During the course of the programmes, students will be required to demonstrate their knowledge gained during the programme annually through examinations.

What benefits do students gain from this affiliation?

Students who enroll into any of our four-year programmes will receive the respective degree upon graduation from Gurugram University. This results in a graduate with a bachelor's degree from a prestigious Indian State University, resulting in graduates that have the flexibility and option to pursue a career in hospitality and allied industries in both India and abroad at senior level positions. Are credit transfers possible?

Both ISH students and Gurugram University students have the option to do full credit transfers between institutes into respective, twin programmes, based on having fulfilled the entry and credit criteria for their desired programme. The student will then complete their studies at the chosen institute. Scholarships, financial aid and other academic awards that effect the tuition fee payable will not be carried over to the respective institute. New tuition fees will be adjusted according to the institute transferring to.
