In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that brings people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, live speakers get together to spark deep discussions and connections in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
Our theme for our first event is, "Pushing the Envelope: A Society in Constant Evolution." It's a theme where we endeavour to encourage our speakers to share their perspectives on how society has evolved and adapted in their sphere.
