We recently launched this academic year by welcoming our largest cohort of undergraduates yet. Students from diverse regions of India have enrolled in our esteemed BBA in Hospitality Management and B.A. (Hons.) in Culinary Arts programs. Featuring an international curriculum, comprehensive training, and real-world industry experiences, ISH is dedicated to equipping these students for successful careers in the hospitality and culinary sectors.

We believe every great venture begins with a vision, a spark of inspiration that ignites possibility. But transforming that vision into reality requires a blueprint, a strategic roadmap co-created with seasoned entrepreneurs.

Building upon the resounding success of its inaugural event, this year's-conclave promises an immersive experience, celebrating the artistry of beverages and fostering enriching conversations within the Indian hospitality community. With the central theme "Made in India, " the conclave aims to showcase the vast diversity and high quality of beverages crafted within the country's borders.

our campus is honored to welcome Chef Shannon Bennett, the celebrated Australian chef and author. He is best known for his role as head chef of Vue de Monde. With training from culinary legends like Marco Pierre White and Alain Ducasse, and appearances on MasterChef Australia, Chef Bennett brings a wealth of experience. He will be interacting with our students, sharing his invaluable insights.

More than hundred and fifty counsellors joined us to celebrate the Counsellors’ Retreat this week. While many experienced ISH for the first time, others stayed connected, returning to the campus and advocating our vision of global hospitality business. Looking forward to having them back next year; introducing them to our flagship programmes through engaging alumni discussions, fireside chats, immersive workshops and student sessions.

IFCCI HR Committee in association with the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) is organising an ‘Exclusive Round Table Discussion’ on Wednesday, 6th December 2023, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. The discussion will focus on the key topic of ‘Reskilling & Upskilling Strategies for the Future Workforce’.

Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) proudly introduces the IMPACT Hospitality Conclave, a unique initiative that transcends traditional hospitality events. The IMPACT Initiative embodies our core principle: we are “for the industry, by the industry.”

On 20th October, we look forward to celebrating the culinary artists of the world. ISH invites chefs from the country’s leading hotels and restaurants to spend a day on campus. The event shall include panel discussions with notable leaders, networking sessions with top chefs and hoteliers, competitions, masterclasses and much more.

Convocation Day is just around the corner! While the Batch of 2023 receives their degree, the postgraduate and diploma students shall be presented with certificates from our Chief Guest, Mr. Patu Keswani, Chairman and Managing Director, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that brings people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, live speakers get together to spark deep discussions and connections in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

Orientation Week included an exciting panel discussion with leading names from the industry. Renowned pastry chef, Swathisree Venkatesan, chef-entrepreneur, Adit Grover, plant-forward chef & influencer, Surabhi Sehgal, and Hilton’s F&B Director, Prashant Kulkarni, joined the discussion.

We kicked off this academic year by welcoming our largest batch of undergraduates. We had students from across India join our flagship programmes — the BBA in Hospitality Management and B.A. (Hons.) in Culinary Arts.

We were delighted to have Keshav Suri, Executive Director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, on campus. He shared his life experiences and journey in an engaging discussion with our Founder, Dilip Puri. He also spoke about the challenges of the LGBTQ+ community and his social initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion for all in hospitality.

Explore the history of food with Padma Shri Dr Pushpesh Pant. Discover the origin of various dishes and ingredients, find out how culture connects with cuisine and get an insight into his latest book.

ISH is thrilled to deliver the Management Development Programme for Leela’s senior managers. A group of talented leaders from sales, marketing, finance, operations and HR will join us on campus this week and learn from experienced academics.

An exciting week of workshops that allow school students to experience the world of hospitality and culinary arts. Each one gets a chance to participate in engaging workshops, field trips, culinary classes with top chefs, team-building activities and much more.

With India’s rapidly growing alcoholic beverage market, it was the perfect time for students from hospitality and culinary institutes to explore exciting opportunities in the vibrant industry. They joined us for an engaging day of learning, networking, and skill-building on campus.

The annual retreat brought together counsellors from the most prestigious schools across the country. Over a hundred counsellors visited our campus, engaged with students, and experienced ISH through exciting workshops.

Our first webinar for the season is all set to feature Dr Zubin D'Souza as he talks about entrepreneurs in the culinary world. Tune in for a 40-minute conversation with the Dean of Culinary Studies at École Ducasse ISH Gurugram. Understand the food business, how to run a restaurant and what it takes to be a culinary entrepreneur in the post-pandemic world. Join us online on Wednesday, 7th December 2022, at 3 pm.

It was with immense pride that we presented our first batch of students with their degrees and certificates on Friday, 4th November 2022. We were privileged to have Mr KB Kachru, Chairman Emeritus and Principal Advisor, Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia as the Chief Guest for the function which was attended by our founders, faculty, team members and proud parents.

ISH collaborated with Hotelivate to host the 9th edition of HOSI, this September. The event saw more than two hundred industry leaders come together and participate in insightful discussions on several topics. These included sessions on the latest trends in hospitality and culinary competitions between top chefs from India’s finest hotels.

We offer a range of short-term culinary workshops that allow participants to learn the art of cooking and experience life as professional chefs. These demonstrative classes follow a guided approach and take them through each step of the culinary process. Through these workshops, they get a chance to explore international cuisine and local food, create unique dishes and discover their inner chef.

What an honour it was to host Mr. Aman Nath, Founder and Chairman of Neemrana Hotels, at the ISH campus! A hotelier, historian, writer, traveller, poet and art connoisseur, Mr. Nath is most known for the restoration of many of India’s architectural ruins. His extensive work in Neemrana has given rise to ‘Neemranification’ – a word which has now come to symbolise sustainable heritage tourism involving local communities.

It was an emotional evening for our faculty and leadership team as they bid adieu to our batch of students over a farewell dinner. We had the honour of inducting this cohort in 2018 and witnessed their journey from high school students to fine professionals. The batch has been an integral part of ISH from the very beginning and we’re proud to see them evolve into the talented young individuals they are today!

An exciting week of workshops that allow high school students to experience the fine art of hospitality and culinary arts. Each one gets a chance to participate in a series of engaging workshops, such as field trips, culinary classes with top chefs, team-building activities and much more. They also learn to prepare some delicious food in our food hall and enjoy each day with delicious meals, as they get a taste of life on campus.

A Memorable Week for École Ducasse in India! We were so excited to welcome multi-Michelin starred chef Alain Ducasse to our campus this week, for the formal inauguration of École Ducasse ISH Gurugram. The iconic chef interacted with students and enjoyed a lunch curated by our young chefs. The highlight of the week was the insightful conversation between Chef Ducasse and well-known journalist, Vir Sanghvi in the presence of industry leaders.

ISH had the honour of hosting Vir Sanghvi celebrated journalist, author and the Chairman of Culinary Culture on campus today. In an interactive session with Mr. Dilip Puri, Founder & CEO at ISH, Mr. Sanghvi answered interesting questions from our hospitality and culinary arts students. He shared with us his journey and his ever-evolving relationship with cuisine, people in the industry, and writing.

Dr Dimitrios Diamantis, Executive Academic Dean at Les Roches Crans-Montana Global Hospitality, Switzerland, visited the India campus. It was great to have him interact with our students, faculty and teams. He spoke about his own professional journey, shared invaluable life experiences, and also addressed the fast changing global hospitality environment.

It was an honour to meet and engage with some of the most inspiring leaders from the industry, each having paved a path towards success that sets an example of resilience and motivates young people. With an opening note from our Founder Dilip Puri and our Director of HR Sanchita Tuli, this event aimed to unfold more ways to uplift and empower women in hospitality.

Building on our Counsellors Retreat 2020, our second roundtable was hosted by our Dean of Academics, Rajiv Gulshan. He spoke to Zubin D'souza - Executive Chef at Oberoi hotels and Resorts and Prashant Kulkarni - Food and Beverage Director, Hilton Hotels India and Anahita N. Dhondy Chef Manager, SodaBottleOpenerwala on the evolution of culinary careers and new global opportunities.

We hosted our first 'blended' counsellors meet, the ISH Counsellors' Retreat 2020. High school counsellors from some of the best schools across India and neighbouring countries joined us on-campus and online, for a day-long event featuring roundtable discussions on the future of hospitality education and global career opportunities for our graduates.

Our senior students got an opportunity to work with hospitality veterans and helped create a reimagined evaluation process that will serve as the new benchmark for the industry.

ISH makes it’s official debut in the spotlight! Team ISH, our Advisory Council, Board of Directors and everyone involved in the project comes together to celebrate the vision and share it with the world.
